Join us for a weekend of continuous practice at Big Elk Campground!
Many people these days talk about ecological concerns. These are good conversations to be had. But we should not just talk to people. We should talk to trees. We should listen to the wind and water, the earth and sky. Master Tozan said if we listen, we can hear the dharma preached by insentient beings. Let us listen together and know for ourselves.
This weekend retreat will be held at Big Elk Campground in Eddyville, OR. Holding retreat without walls and in a location where we wake, sit, chant, walk and sleep in the same place, supports continuous practice. Come unplug and enter this moment of life on Earth together!
This retreat will be held in silence. It will include a full zazen schedule, thorough meditation instruction and guidance, dharma talks, discourse with the teachers, and guided body practice.
