Good Earth Retreat

This experimental sesshin is inspired by Shinei and Soten’s years of practicing meditation outside and leading Sesshin in the wilderness. Accustomed to backpacking-style retreat, we want to offer an outdoor retreat that is accessible to a broader audience. We will pick an outdoor location that is accessible by car, likely a state park or rural property, and make it our home and place of practice for these days of intensive meditation. We have put up so many barriers between ourselves and the earth, this retreat is an opportunity to step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and reconnect with our original home.
