Precepts Sesshin

Our tradition teaches that the precepts, compassionate speech and conduct, are the natural expressions of the awakened heart-mind. And that this mind is awakened through practicing the precepts. How would we live if we never turned away from our direct experience of shared-being? In this sesshin, we will intentionally turn towards this experience of thorough and intimate interconnection with all of being. It is not enough to know this truth conceptually, we have to become it. We become it by living the precepts, moment by moment.
